Hoyer had to know this was his last opportunity as a starter. So what happens? He throws a pick on his very first play from scrimmage and his fragile confidence was completely shot. I don't care if he's a better QB in camp or how skilled he is. He doesn't have the mental makeup to be a starter in the NFL.
Nowhere near as sad as "Bill O'Brien names Hoyer starting QB" That was pretty much the lowest point in franchise history
Fitz-Hoyer-Mallet Hard to find a more mediocre trifecta. At least Kubiak went out and got Schaub who was darn good for a while
