One of the worst halves of Texans football I've ever seen. They should come out with Mallett. What do you have to lose? And I'm not one to call for change easily.
PI missed-calls were both huge, but we're losing because our defense couldn't stop Kelce, and Hoyer can't complete a damn pass. His arm looks weak, he doesn't appear to be a leader, and his vision has been absolutely awful. I didn't want Hoyer to start, and I think he should have an incredibly short leash. Let's see if he can bounce back today, but Mallett needs to be ready. I miss Fitz-Magic.
I can understand that reason for the first missed PI, but that 2nd one was so obvious. Wish we kept fitz at the point
Hoyer's not getting benched in this game unless they concede the loss in the fourth. And I think the problem is that if you do bring in Mallett and he sucks, where do you go? The confidence and leadership ability from your only two viable qbs at this point will be shattered after only the first game of the season. And even if we lose this, it's still only one game with a whole season left. I'd imagine he gives Hoyer several games before he makes a change, if it comes to that.
The only person happy about the score is Ryan Mallett. He's licking his chops. Hey the Clots are losing tho
it's okai. remember how everyone thought the patriots were done after week 4? we run the patriots system! (crickets) hope we can turn it around. I didn't like the hoyer decision but was sold that he was safe and did not throw it all over. you lie!
At least they addressed their defensive issues by signing you-know-who, Frank Gore and drafting a WR with their first pick. Wait, what? LOLts. Clippers of the NFL.
The problem is turnovers. He's actually getting 7 y/a and going down field. But the turnovers have been bad
I won't be. He has no arm, little mobility, and his accuracy in coverage situations isn't spectacular. Clamoring for young QBs is textbook fanism, it's usually wrong.
