Well, this is the longest I have been able to stick with this team for a season. I am now officially done. Just a pathetic team/franchise/etc. Time for the Rockets
Well it took what 8 years to fix the Oline problems, maybe another 8 to field a Dline that can generate pressure....
This team has little to no urgency on defense. I don't know if it's the turf being horrible (I saw in a close-up, it looked bad), but our pass rushers are not looking to punish the quarterbacks, and instead, fall over when they get near him. The secondary is horrible, as it has been. Our 3 linebackers are just okay. Cushing looks absolutely slow out there. He's unwilling to hit somebody and keeps pulling up. The offense has gone stagnant. Yeah, this is a knee-jerk post, but I'm sick of the incosistency and lack of fire that has plagued this team throughout its history. I think that has to do with coaching (obviously), and I think I am officially off the Kubiak ship. I try to like the guy because he's a great guy, and his players are behind him. Plus, I went to school with a niece of his, lol. I'm sick of coordinators and coaches that cannot adapt mid-game. This has also been a consistent problem. This team flat out stinks.
It starting to become more apparent we only wanted to beat the Colts. Seems first game of the season was our playoff game.
