    The two drives that have ended up with TDs had a 3rd and long. both times, there was no blitz. i don't care if your jamarcuss russell, with no pressure and 10 seconds to throw, you're gonna find someone open 15 yards down the field.

    Perhaps, but on the larger and more significant scale, our defense simply blows.

    Yea, those stinkin' refs are most definitely responsible for our lousy defense and horrible playcalling.

    yep.

    the second things go awry for kubiak he crawls into his turtle shell, plays "not to lose" and gives the ball back to the opposing teams offense even though our DEFENSE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

    it's almost like he doesn't trust the offense enough yet somehow trusts the defense. i dont get it.

    Not sure the refs have screwed Houston over in this game, in fact they got some help a few times. This is nowhere close to NBA officiating (where cheating and fixing games is rampant and proven

    This is true, so many people in this thread are just idiots. It's 14-7 at half against a good football team. I guess some people thought we were going to go 16-0 and win the super bowl, and now they're disappointed. Everyone thinks they know more than the head coach. :rolleyes:

    It does, but the young guys on defense should - at least in theory - improve as the season goes along. And if not for officials extending a pair of drives that ended on the field, KC probably has zero points for the half. That would be something to build on.

    Yea, I hear your point but it's just getting disheartening watching our defense just get picked apart game after game. It's becoming a given that every QB we face is gonna have his best, or one of his best, games of the season.

    Is Kubiak completely out of clueless Denver cronies to hire as defensive coordinator yet? Or are there a few hack retreads still in the pipeline? He may have to start going all the way back to A&M to find more nobodies with absolute loyalty to him.
