Damn he seems to have one of those rare “too tall” players injuries. Right iliac? That’s right next to your spine I think. Hope it’s nothing. Hate the Thunder but Chet has my respect with his toughness and you want to see a player that talented have a great career.
Banchero with the torn oblique was about 2-3 months as well. It happened two weeks prior so he should be coming back earlier.
that fake perma-scowl always trying to look hard matches harmoniously with the brittle snap crackle pop bones
"something similar before"? Is he talking about his weird foot injury in his rookie preseason, or... something most people don't know about?
Wow, good timing, Nike. Coming just in time for Christmas, the new Nike Sky Walker! ... No, really, it's a old folks home walker, but with swooshes... and air gel, and stuff.
Chet has always been projected to be the best player in his draft class. The biggest concern is injuries.
This wasn't some freak non contact stuff. Or where he tears something completely or the whole foot is fractured, or what Alpe was going against in the Kings game. If he was lucky, it'd be a major bone bruise and contusion instead of a fracture. Shouldn't have jumped that high to contest a ball that wasn't substantial. It wasn't something that was necessary but it happened. Can't cry about it.
I mean the Hartenstein left hand fracture in the Preseason was even more mysterious. In limited minutes he breaks his hand and has to sit for 2 months of Regular Season. It wasn't even reported until very late. That's lucky.
