I don't think you watched the game. Foster caught the ball, went into the end zone (had the ball in both of his hands). A Chargers defender was trying to tackle him at his ankles and Foster put the ball into his right hand and started stumbling. Keep in mind he has had control in the end zone already. His knee even hits the ground before the ball touches the ground and comes loose.
Wasn't Harlan's dad the president of the Packers? I can't believe Fox lets Brian Billick call Falcons game like he did today with his brother in law Mike Smith coaching them. I think announcers get to attend practices and meet with coaches so Billick could just slip Smith some inside info.
Some reporters are trying to hold Kube accountable and McClain keeps dominating the discussion and tossing softballs.
Yeah I didn't watch the game I just imagined it my mind. I didn't see his knee hit the ground. If it did, then the call was wrong. If it didn't hit the ground, it was correct.
I usually watch the Monday press conference and McClain asked 75% of the questions. He rips them on his blog but when he a chance to ask him tough questions, he doesn't. The Houston media in general ask dumb questions. I always hear these hosts on the radio second guessing him but why don't they ask him tough question when they have a chance?
Yeah, his knee did not hit the ground, but everything else was correct, and the knee should not have mattered.
McClain does this at every press conference. When the questions start to get tough, he'll ask one question after another on things nobody cares about.
Exactly what he did. Someone was grilling him and John swooped in with "What do you think about Philip Rivers?"
Here they are. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81bed1aa/Chargers-vs-Texans-highlights He "catches" the ball inside the endzone, he didn't catch it outside and than broke the line, his left foot was already inside.
Hey, you could be. I re-winded it and his knee didn't hit the ground, but everything else I said still remains. That should have been a TD. If Foster, while slipping, had raised his arm and spiked the ball, it would have been fine.
He lose it when he brought the ball to the ground for balance. As a result, I think the right call was made according to the rules.
