We came out passing on first down too often in the second half. Sure they were loading up but Foster was breaking tackles and making plays and we let off the gas.
Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about yes it is in the rules that was not a touchdown. See the Calvin Johnson game winning catch that got called back against the bears this year. The league says they will look into changing the rules after the season but that foster TD was not a touchdown per league rules right now.
This is why I wanted the Texans to claim Moss. We have "good" WR at times, but put AJ and Moss on opposite sides and teams cannot double cover both of them. Then with Foster as a RB, we could potentially actually average 30 ppg. But too late for that now...
When people start off with something like "I'm no racist but..." they can't help but come across as one. Seriously though, the refs - including that black one - screwed SD several times during the game. That blocked kick was on a roughing the kicker, no call. Antonio Smith hits Rivers below the knees, no call. The officials were equally bad for both sides today so blaming them is a cop out. Now I ask you: At any time in this game, given the way the Texans were playing defense, did you have the feeling that they (Texans) had this game in hand? Did you? Anyone? Bueller?
I know what you are saying; I guess we all have to find a way to cope. You or I didn't lose at anything, we didn't play, so, it's on them. Their ineptitude is not going to ruin my day.
I think he got that called on him because he was still between the tackles when he threw the ball away.
It was but there so many other reasons why you guys lost, and the refs were balanced believe it or not. I'm really not a troll at all, in fact i often cheer for the Texans on this board.
If you block a kick, there's no "roughing". The Smith no-call was 50/50. Could have been called, but wasn't. Same thing goes for the grounding.
Clearly, you are clueless because the Calvin Johnson play and the Arian Foster play were not the same situation. One was a catch in the endzone, the other was not
Even if that was the case, Dressen was close enough to out of bounds that the call shouldn't have been called.
That's like the 4th time I hear that in like 3 pages. Come up with something new. Oh and great argument.
What? You are the clueless one. They both were in the endzone dude. The rule sucks but they made the righ call both plays.
Not exactly. Our 1st drive of the 2nd half, we were 6 for 26 yds on rushing attempts. Not as strong as in the 1st half, but they weren't stopping us. Last drive of the 3rd qtr, they had success, limiting us to 4 for 7 yds. Our 1st drive of the 4th, our only rushing attempt was the 4th down QB sneak. Now, we had some success passing so I had no issues. Foster though had zero rushes in the 4th.
