yup thats cause we have been losing due to missed field goals, horrible turns overs that led to TD's and our special teams is responsible for like 4 90+ year returns and 4 blocked punts.. chargers are definitely one of the best 3-5 teams ever
Good stats are swell, but when they dont translate into wins, there's something horribly wrong. There's a reason why the Chargers haven't won this season, and there's a stat out there that explains why. I don't know what it is because I don't follow them, but I've heard that their special teams are absolutely dismal.

Arian Foster is a nice weapon but if we held CJ2K to 59 yards rushing last week... Than I don't think the run, is the approach you want to come with against our defense.
The Texans are gonna win. The chargers are gonna be gameplanning for the run after seeing Indy get cut up by Foster and his 15 carries. So the Texans counter by passing more and passing early. Norv will be so surprised!

Sure, however if you guys want to force the run to develop against our D, go right ahead. We've been great against the run this year.
No one is saying Arian Foster is going to run all over you guys, you just said that you'd stop CJ so that means Foster shouldn't be as hard. Foster has been the best RB in the NFL so far outside of Adrian Peterson. I'm just saying, at this moment Foster has been playing lights out. Also Arian is averaging 5.7 ypc, Peterson 4.7, CJ 4.1 While the Chargers have been good at stopping the run, the Texans have been great at running the ball...when they so choose to actually do that.

What makes you think Kubiak is going to give Arian Foster the rock anyways? Another thing will you guys have time to run the ball? You know what the Charger's offense is capable of and I don't think you'll be giving him the ball too much if you guys are down two scores. No doubts the guy has been running the ball well this year. I just don't see you guys developing the run. Honestly what I would against us is control time of possession. Hit the short passes with Walter, Johnson and score on long drives. Rivers cools off and our defense gets tired. Than maybe you can run the ball.
Woah woah woah now you're changing it up. You're PUNT PROTECTION is better but that doesen't mean you're PUNTER is better. Those highlights were just an example. Scifres is one of the best punters in the league. Lechler and Lee are probably the only two that are better..
You're right about that though. I have no idea. He may not even test out the run...then again we may get stuffed on the run and do better through the air...only to have Kubiak ignore that. The Texans offense is capable of exploding for points too, it's pretty much what they do. Come out, suck for one half, then put up 20+ points in a couple of mins suddenly. Anything is possible, but the Texans are the best redzone team in the NFL any TOs in that area like the Chargers have done the previous games can and will lose them this game.
The Chargers D is overrated. They are better than the Texans but nowhere near top 5 ... Its easy to not give up many yards when the other team is getting so many long KO returns, etc. Even the radio people here in SD say the D has some big weaknesses. Now the O is legit and Philip Rivers has what Matt Schaub doesnt ... Composure in the pocket and plays well in big situations. Texans need to win the TO battle and exploit the Chargers ST
San Diego is good at stopping the run. I think they're worse in the air. Knowing Kubes like I know Kube, I'm going with Foster to run 35 times for 20 yards.
