Seems like any quarterback who's having a bad season, has a "good day" with the Texans defense.......
I get what you're saying, but Rivers is on pace to have the best season ever for a QB... without having played the Texans yet.
Well the defense is giving him Dan Fouts something to get excited about....chargers are playing 3 string receivers ....THIRD STRING!!!
I know Manning and Rivers are good but this is two games in a row when we are playing scrubs and backups at the WR position and suddenly we are making opposing RBs look all world.
I'm flabbergasted. This defense is made up of professional athletes yet week in, week out, they just get schooled like little children. Shouldn't that at least drive them to get better? WTF!?
That's where you start blaming the coaching as well... they probably have enough talent to not be the worst defense in football.
Oh my bad. I don't watch the Chargers, so I didn't know. I thought he made that post as in "Wow, Rivers looks great today compared to other weeks."
I wasn't harboring any illusions that the defense wasn't that bad, but this is just pathetic. Can't tackle. Can't get pressure. Can't cover. Is there anything they do even remotely well? Demeco missing is not the reason this defense just plains sucks. They just plain suck. I'd rather throw a high school defense out there at this point. That and cut Jacoby Jones. He's a professional wide receiver. That should have been a td, plain and simple. There's no excuse.
