    Freakin' Albert Pujols.

How many times do we have to say it? NEVER, EVER pitch to Pujols, especially in the clutch.

    ARGHHH!

I feel sick. How in the world can you give him something to hit. And why in the world can't Hoffman go one more out?

    He's still hurt right?

I still don't get why anyone pitches to Pujols when the game is on the line. I'd walk him to load the bases even if Ryan Howard were on deck.

Let's hope Looper comes in and screws it up...

wainwright is getting it done.... 2 down, 1 to go (not on the season, but the magic number will grow smaller) :(

why in the hell would you pitch to Pujols with 2 outs? I would take my chances with Rolen every single time. Like the Padres gave them the game.

I am convinced that every team in the majors has to go through a Pujols 'shock therapy' session before they learn that. I think a lot of teams don't really believe the guy is as dominant -- or capable of taking over an entire game -- as he looks on TV, at least until they're served a 'Pujols special'.

Very disappointing the Pads couldn't hold on that late in the game, but that's how it works sometimes...

If the Pads were tied for their division, I highly doubt they would have pitched to Albert. The game is won if they intentionally walk Albert

i love how albert stares at his homerun for an hour while he slowly walks up to firstbase. he just looks like an a$$clown. it wouldn't bother me at all if someone threw a ball at him while he rounded the bases.

Before it's all said and done that guy will have a head that's so big he'll need to travel on his own charter to road games.

Is it just wrong for me to wish he would die?

I agree, after the kind of collapse his team is in the midst of, he just needs to put his head down and jog around the bases. That HR was a damn carbon copy of the Lidge HR in gm5.
