If the Cards win today, then we have win our next 2 games and we need the Cards to lose the next 2. Problem is ... Carpenter is going tomorrow
this is a fcking outrage. the ump ended our season. that is completely unacceptable. i am ****ing enraged right now
that pitch was pretty much right down the middle. either way it was undebateable as a strike. it was a long shot for the astros but the f#$king cards don't need any help.
do you people understand that that called ball was directly down the middle of the plate and the umpire refused to let the cards lose by ringing him up????????????????????????????????????????????
There is still some hope. They've come this far so i'm not going to write them off yet. Carpenter has looked horrible his last few starts. This is certainly a deflating loss. So close, it hurts.
What a s**tty postseason (for the NL) this will be if the Cards BACK in to the damn playoffs. I hope they get their asses handed to them (should this hold out) in the NLDS. But man if somehow this can just go to a tiebreaker game. What an unbelievable game that would be. -Kind of makes you wonder though...as bad as the Cardinals have played during the last few weeks and as good as we have been, if the Astros had just played even .500 ball during the summer months, we wouldn't have even been depending on the Cardinals to lose right now.
THERE IS NO "PRETTY MUCH" to it. that was down the center of the FUFOIDJN :F na;oSFN;OKsdfjkSDJFOS JAK strike zone [ 'k fasdsa;naskl'gn sd'gn l;agn; asd'mf, as;,fvSAv,l s;agmhn-]q3y59=j3q256t0jw 0pm
the idiot ump was confused because the cathcer had to reach back across his body f**********************************bs
Now now guys, don't you think you're making a big deal out of this? Umpires' calls do even out in the long run. I mean, the Astros did get that great call on the pickoff attempt on 1st base by Clemens last night...
