In one of the games we played against St Louis, didn't Pujols jog around the bases and then got caught in a pickle? Does anyone remember anything to that effect?
Not sure if everyone understands how flabbergasting this is within the context of baseball history. Parents would be telling their grandchildren about this if they do what we're hoping they can........these things just don't happen in real life.

I did say that if the Royals were in the NL, they'd go to the playoffs. And on a side note The astros are going to the playoffs. Any team that can't beat the Brewers in a must win series doesn't deserve the playoffs.

By the way... there's no homefield advantage for the Cards right now. It's more like a disadvantage for them now...given the pressure they're feeling and the boos reigning down from the home crowd...i think it's worse for them than playing on the road.
