Tank was always known for his ability to make insane breaks in his routes....I'm glad it's still there in the NFL.
Anyone that went to the game, could t totally tell on the tv, did we listen to Stroud and actually show out for this game?
Just theory on not using timeouts in that situation... Cardinals were needing a touchdown and were still a ways out. Shortening the game meant they had to go deeper with lower percentage plays because they were playing against the clock and downs. Makes them more predictable. I think the calculus changes greatly if a field goal ties it there. Give them another 1 or 2 minutes and they can play for downs to drain the clock and it opens up the field more.
I was there. In the moments that mattered, I'd definitely say the crowd was loud and engaged. I can think of at least 2 occasions where the crowd noise led to a timeout and a delay of game.
I wasn't talking about Stroud, he's been amazing, I was talking about Levis, those games were all losses outside of the one fluke
Ah, that'll happen. The resident Will Levis fan was trying to sell his last 3 awful performances as "great" and I went through the numbers with him and said that there's no such thing as a "great" QB performance where the team doesn't score at least 20. The Texans have only failed to score 20 3 times because Stroud is amazing.
