He really needs to hit in front of a good hitter. He can do some damage when balls are thrown in the zone to him. I guess Phil was never here for the Biggio-Everett lineup... when he got here, Beltran had already arrived, and we were working our way to batting him 2nd.
Plenty of hits but we just can't string them together. Andy is looking good though, and that is nice to see.
Yea... i'm pretty much resigned to this offense struggling until they just all collectively relax... there's a ton of pressure on them right now to produce. I'm just hoping that Andy's arm feels fine tommorow, because him being completely healthy will go a LONG way to being competitive this year.
11 hits through 7 innings now and since a walk has the same base value as a single 12 hits, 1 of which has actually scored someone god damn pathetic.
Burke, you got to get the bunt down right there. That was a huge mistake that could really end up costing us this game. AWFUL
That was horrible. If you are going to pinch hit with Burke, at least let the guy hit. If you are going to bunt, just leave the freakin pitcher in. Shizzle.
