Might be in for a long game tonight. The article I read on Lambert made it sound like he couldn't cut it in Japan. Tells you the state of our SP right now that he's getting the start.
Who knows, but Lambert has good stuff. His fb was up to 96 in AAA this year. I am often wrong but I would not be surprised if Lambert looked good tonight. I was surprised Weiss struggled as much as he did yesterday. I feel really good about Weiss, Lambert, Burrows, and Arrighetti in terms of ceiling, just a matter of them consistently performing (and luck).

Next 2 turns thru the “rotation” will tell me the story. If Burrows/Lambert/Weiss/Arrighetti don’t look damn good and the back end guys don’t look up to filling the gap then it’s over. A shame too because with Walker and Smith clicking the lineup is championship quality.
