    When is Suppan not struggling?

By the way, The Hunchback Fetus with another sketchy play at short.

Pence swings at what would've been Ball 4 and his 3rd straight BB.

He more than makes up for it though by crushing the next pitch for a 2B and chasing Suppan.

Myers with his A game through 6.

The only run he gave up came after Pence misplayed a ball that turned into a 3B for Pujols.

It wouldn't have been an easy play but he was there to make the catch. A lot of outfielders would've made the play, including Hunter on a better day. He's had a couple of poor plays in the last 2 games.

He gets the heart of the order in the 7th and he's only at 69 pitches. If he has another strong inning, he has a good chance at the CG.

12 pitches in the 7th, 80 for the game. Myers in control.

Myers totally dominating at only 81 pitches through 8 but Mills wants to get Lindstrom some work. Hope it doesn't backfire.

    1 down.

    Astros win.

Chalk one up for Wade. Myers has been a beast.

Astros starters have a 1.47 ERA in the last 10 games.

Astros are gonna win 10 straight and are gonna tear up the national league now that Wandy is back to his old self, write it down, I still believe!

So here's an interesting thought. While he may not have the super impressive resume, Myers has been close to our most consistent starter all year.

If the Astros cannot trade Oswalt, anyone think we get something, even if it is a minor minor prospect for him a trade?

He is cheap this season, only signed for this year, and does have playoff experience (though it won't blow anyone away).
