Against good competition and late in the game, take the chance to TIE it up...because Tejada is a .300 hitter, which means there is a 70% chance of failure. Sending him is probably a higher percentage play.......the aggressive play is the one to do there, IMO. DD
Oh yea....I missed the first 5 and half innings but the last 3 have been incredible...playoff baseball at its best in JULY!
Dude do you question everything? Seriously? Are you watching the game? He was hardly at 3rd base when the fielder had hte ball, he would've gotten thrown out by a effin mile
I just think alot of things can go wrong on a play like that and if you send him there could be a bad throw, catcher drops the ball like Pudge and even a colision...just lots of things that could go are way...
yeah, it happened twice for the cards a half-inning earlier on plays that they had no business attempting home on.
Of course I am watching the game....and I do like aggressive play......the percentages say you send him there...so many working parts in a perfect throw home....just look at Bourne and hitting the pitching mound at the top of the inning. I still believe sending him was the right move there.... Just my .02. DD
Alright its winning time boys! Dramatic 9th here we come! Franklin is a beast but hey he is due for a blown saves!
If those guys were thrown out, they would still be either tied or winning. We were down a run with Miggy due up and slow man Coste as the runner.
well, if everything else went the same as it did, we would have won 2-1 if those guys were thrown out. way to be, pudge.
theres zero point in arguing with you because dillusional. lets send the runner and hope for a miscue instead of sending out best batter with the basses loaded.
