That's the way to do it...nothing until we sweep

EDIT: Actually...nothing until we catch them. I'm supposed to call one of my customers in STL on Monday. We've been going back and forth for 3 years. I'm not saying a word until we win the division. Nothing matters if the Astros are sitting at home on Oct. 2nd.

Dude, I am not believing this sh*t! After everything the whole season. This team is tougher than rasputin.

Unbelievable! Man, I couldnt stop laughing when you made that post last night. Rocket has an awesome setup tomorrow night. I predict tomorrow night STL will run out of alcohol because they'll be drowning their tears in their beer.

    ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!! :D

Wish they'd have turned it on a little earlier. The Astros are now closer to the Cards than to the wildcard. Is there a miracle out there?

I must admit after us getting swept last weekend vs the Phillies I thought it was over! But, should they pull this one off, Sh*t there's nothing they cant do. Especially, now that the Stros found a REAL cleanup hitter and is name is Luuukke Scott. Rock on! Prove me wrong Stros! What an amazing finish we are potentially witnessing. Wow! You know ESPN pundits have got to be pissed that they have to talk about the Astros. :D :D :D

If so,...this will be BIGGER than the miracle of 1980!...Unbelievable!

They will be making a movie about the 2006 Astros, 20 years from now. Crazy!

Regardless of the playoffs or no playoffs, fan appreciation weekend has been absolutely fantastic so far. The team and the fans are having a lot of fun this series. I had a total blast at the game tonite. It had everything, playoff type atmosphere, back and forth, tense moments, clutch HRs by both teams, and a walkoff win.

I think it is safe to say that Luke is no fluke. He hasn't cooled off since he got here. He has been nothing short of great, and it appears we have our left fielder for years to come. How about 2-3-4-5-6 of Burke, Soriano, Berkman, Scott, Huff ?

It is still unlikely we will actually get into the playoffs. We would need to go 8-0 and the Cards would have to go 3-5 to win the division outright. Unlikely, but if there was ever a team to pull off something completely ridiculous like that, it would be the Astros.

This is absolutely incredible. Just last night, JD or Dierker said something about the Astros not having a walk off hit all year.* Now they've had 2 in 2 nights.

*They had 3 walk off wins, but none of them came on hits. The only one I remember was the one where Berkman made it back to the bag to take away the force.

Winning the division is such a long shot; I still believe, but I'm very cautious about it cause I don't want to be dissapointed. Really at this point, if they can continue to show some fight and not give up and manage to get above .500 that would be a good moral victory in itself, and I'd be happy with that. Course I don't settle for mediocrity, but in this season, I'll take any ray of sunshine.

At least they've shown (in spurts few and far between) they are not as bad as a team as their record indicates. They just haven't been able to put it together consistently.

Wouldn't it be something if after all of this, we ended up in the playoffs and the White Sox don't.
