Roger is a victim of his own good stuff... hitters still have a hard time getting a piece of the ball, but since his velocity has declined, they're acually able to foul it off (instead of swinging right thru it, like they did in the old days). Thus, his pitch count goes up and up. Also, he doesn't hold runners well, which could be a problem this inning.
doesn't seem like everytime ensberg and wilson come up to bat with runners on there are only 2 options available to them: a. strike out b. gidp very interesting this game seem almost too predictable
im not watching....im actually working...(mlb gamecast) thank for your input though....i will take it into consideration let the onslaught begin
Clemens is human today. Now's the time for the team to pick HIM up...instead of the other way around.
Sorry boys, but until Timmy gets his finger out of his nose and steps up and makes a deal for a bat, the Stros are gonna be a mediocre club that struggles to drive in runs in key situations and that hovers around .500....
Damn Ensberg sucks. I never seen anybody change his batting stance so much and never seen someone takes as many fastballs down the middle as him.
Its Garner's own fault for moving Burke out of the top of the lineup. This lineup seemed just fine, scoring 7+ runs in 4 straight games earlier this week.
