Max, Larry Wayne Jones get much more adoration from the pre-pubecent females than Lopez. Both own the 'Stros however.

I forgot about Ron Gant. Great call. That guy killed us.

Woody Williams is becoming an Astros killer.

Dykstra is a good one too.

Ryne Sandberg had numerous muti-homer games against us.

Vinny Castilla hit more than one game winning homer off of Wagner in the past.

Andre Dawson might be the all time one though. I swear, if I had a nickle for every time he hit a homer off of Julio "Home Run" Salano or Aurelio Lopez, I would be a rich man. I remember in 1987, he must have hit at least 10 homers off of us that year alone (I think he hit close to 50 for the whole season).

Javy Lopez stuck it to us alot also. He is no Biff Pobaroba though.

    OUCH!

Bad luck for Munro.... whatever he left up, they nailed. Actually, its not bad luck when you leave a pitch up, but an average team only hits 1 out of every 3 bad pitches. The Cardinals probably hit 3 out of every 5 bad pitches, and they hit the first 3 they saw from Munro hard.

We'll see how the rest of the game goes...

So much for the Peter Munro - Starting Pitcher experiment.

I would kill for some stability at the end of the rotation.

And I was praying that Ensberg wouldn't ground into the double play. I hope Bagwell pulls out of his annual early season slump soon...

Simply for his complete and total mojo over Billy Wagner nowadays, I nominate Aramis Ramirez as an Astro-Killer. He had like six homers last year, and I'm certain they all came against Wagner.

What exactly happened? I also saw it on PTI but wasn't paying close attention. I'd be hella pissed if I was the guy who got "caned".

At least Bagwell was man enough to admit he f****** up in the 9th inning last night.

There was no excuse for swinging for the pitch that he did. 1-0 count, down 3, bases juiced, 1 out, you don't swing at an obvious pitchers pitch.

He couldn't have done anything with the pitch anyway.

I love Jeff, but sometimes I want to inject some of my favorite professional athletes with my intelligence.

Granted, if you gave me with my brain, their ability, its over.

It's kind of sad when you can say that a guy hitting .290 is in a slump.
