I think youre wrong about the value of the brz in 5yrs. The blue book value might be lower than what the actual private retail will go for. Subarus in general hold value better than any vehicle not badged lexus. Throw in the fact that the brzs and frs' will be highly sought after still in 5 years.

I love Suboobarus. The air bags are fantastic.

They have fairly bad reviews though.

I may check them out still.

My wife just got the new rx350. Lexus has done a good job with their new models. What was once an old Asian woman's car is pretty freakin nice now. We got white on dark brown. Love it so far.

    Thinking about the following

2014 Lexus IS 350 F sport with Baja red interior
2013 or 2014 BMW 3 series M sport must have coral red interior.
    2014 BMW 428
    2012-13 BMW Z4 M sport
2009+ Cayman since they have the PDK starting that year.

Anybody owned, own, driven or have experience with any of the ones I mentioned? Input appreciated thanks.

No Torque, too old, too expensive.

You should consider a 370Z. I bought one new and I don't have any complaints.

For the type of fun I enjoy with sports cars, torque is not at the very top of priorities.

^^^ makes me want a Cayman even more now. I've wanted one for like the last 5 years and now they're finally near my my budget. Oh how I would love a 2010 or 2011 Cayman S in white.

Yup. The 2011 year model is the sweet spot since it's right before they switched to the electric steering.

a 2009 to 2011 cayman is an amazing value for that car you get.

2009 is the 2nd gen with the better PDK transmission.
There's no 2013 model and 2014 is the new 3rd gen.

Nice choice. I have the 2015 midnight edition with the 6.2. Love the truck.

It sucks for the 2016 models though, they cut the warranty big time. I have 100,000 mile and the new ones only have a 60,000 mile.

The 2016's do have the HID head lights though.. I had a 2016 loaner while I was getting my borla catback installed at the dealership, they are nice and bright.
