loss of shcaub is really no loss at all loss of ahman greem? who in the hell is ahman green texans have a great chance to win this weekend, andre johnson is playin and that should be enough against any team as long as the defense can make some plays, the wr core is good enough to help aj get open for some oppurtunities
Texans 20, Bucs 17. If only the Texans were in the NFC South and NO was in the AFC South imagine the possibilities ...
It's not like TB is setting the world on fire. They were extremely lucky to win last week against NO (who the hell runs a trick play when you're just trying to run out the clock?). Houston 17 Tampa 14 Mario gets 2 more sacks to go over the 10 mark. Sage does just enough to keep us in the game and leads the winning drive in the 4th for a Kris Brown 50 yard FG to win it. Dayne has about 50 yards and AJ goes over 100, again.
The Texans should lose this game, beat the crap out of the Broncos on Thursday, then lose the rest for a good draft pick. Too bad they traded their 2nd round draft pick to ATL for Schaub. IMO, they overpaid for him, but that's the price you pay to get rid of the "Lemon!"
Completely off topic, but I wasnt sure where I should place this...did you guys know that Matt Stevens, former safety of the Texans, was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident in late October? I didnt think much of his playing skills, but that's really sad news to hear.
it needs to be between 74 and 78 degrees with a 15% chance of rain or less and less than 10% humidity.
My crappy division has sent a team to the NFC championship game for the last 5 years, going to 2 Super Bowls and winning one. The AFC South, by comparison, has reached the AFC championship game 3 of the last five years, going to 1 Super Bowl and winning 1. Hard to see how the NFC South is weaker than the AFC South.
Any person with a brain can see that the AFC South is the strongest, most competitive division. Arguing otherwise is borderline stupidity.
If the issue was which division over the last five years was better you would have an argument. In 2007, the NFC South blows. The lowly Texans have beat everybody in your division this year.
