What a game...I was so happy to finally catch a game up here...Went to Bennigans on Beltline and was the only Texas fan...Got razed a lot, but it worked out in the end...

I wish we played like that earlier in the year as they looked good...Mario, damn, he looked great and it's good to see...

I guess this game makes up for that awful Oilers @ Broncos game. All I remember from that game was the qb throwing a backward pass to the running back on the wing...which turned into a fumble for a TD return by the defense. Correct me if I'm wrong? That was many years ago. It may have been a playoff game. Most of what I remember from that game was just being pissed off the whole time.

I have never been to another stadium to watch a game, but maybe someone can tell me if other teams have to put up with as many road team fans as the Texans do? It was incredible to see all the Bronco fans at the game. Just wondering.

I think thats mainly due to the Texans still being in their infancy and the time of going without a team. It should subside.

Go see Green Bay play on the road, its horrible.

Plus, Houston has such a huge population...residents hail from all over...and when their teams play in Houston, they go out and support them. I know that if the Texans come to Boston to play, I'll be dishing out whatever cash it takes to attend.

Which may only be second to Cubs @ Astros.

Just wait until this season when we get the Red Sox and Yankees at MMP.

What? The Braves can't even fill up their own stadium, much less another team's. You're talking about a situation that occured years ago.

Not so much anymore. It's more of the cubs and Astros now a days. Brave fans seem to have shied away.

it's always been that way with the cubs. it was like that in the dome...it's like that at MMP...it's like that for them virtually everywhere around the country.

the most embarassing thing i've seen like that, though, was at a Red Sox game against the Rangers in Arlington this last summer. They'd pipe in the "Let's go Rangers" music....and it was so overwhelmed by people screaming "Let's go Red Sox" it was ridiculous. Red Sox fans absolutely outnumbered Rangers fans.

That's what you get for attending a sporting event in south Oklahoma that doesn't involve the Cowboys or Sooners.

Jerry Glanville's Oilers ... 1987. The Play: Stagger Lee. Code word: Kill Me Now! We lost 34-10 and it wasn't even THAT close.

I finally watched the game off the Tivo.

Broncos and Cutler in particular struggle to be consistent on drives. Less bone head plays from Cutler and it could have been a close game.

Sage had a very good game, especially in the fourth quarter. If Sage continues to play well and stays healthy, Schaub will be the league's highest paid backup QB next year.

The biggest winner from the game is Kubiak. He beat his master ;) (though owner Bob McNair might be wondering if the Denver system is still the one to run with). The Texans also now are guaranteed to have a better record than last year, even with all of the injuries. Kubiak will likely keep his job and have one more year to get the Texans to a winning season.

Mario Williams said they played the Super Mario Bros. song over the speakers. Anybody got a video or know which song they played? The original theme, or the song that plays when you're in the blue level?

They should just play the 1up or mushroom/flower sound effect haha

Born and raised here. Seen it all but not only is Houston full of transplants (I'm cool with that), tripling in size since the 60's, but it's replete with FRONT RUNNERS.
I mean how many damn BRAND NEW Cowgirls decals have you seen on pickup windows lately? Didn't see them two years ago.
Everyone's a Houston fan till the team falls below .500 then they go looking for greener pastures.
Doesn't take much to back a winner, but plenty of sack to stick with your team, rain or shine.
