    because the runner was going to go on contact regardless.

    No, you generally only do it if you’re desperate not to give up the run and willing to risk a bigger inning by allowing most balls hit on the ground to find a hole like the one Yelich hit.

    altuve could have had it if he was a little taller. if dubon was playing 2B, he would catch that then we'd all be celebrate what genius of a move it was.

    it didn't happen so we're all here wondering wth just happened.
