Morey had two big deals pulled off this year...

....one was nixed by the commish playing god, and the other was nixed by Dwight playing Orlando....

I'd rather my GM be wise and confident than dumb and liked!

Hell yeah! Nothing like spending an afternoon / night at the ball park.

I'm going to try to make it to one of the Rangers games. Headed to Houston tomorrow night.

I'm going to my first game since last year tomorrow night(Just got home from school). But not looking ahead, let's sweep Selig's crew tonight!

Also, when was the last time that the Astros had back to back 2 game series?

Absolutely! Just don't be that douche constantly on the phone waving to the camera all night. You get one call/wave. That is it.

Poor JD. Only position player without a hit. I wonder if he might get sent to AAA to try and break out of this.

Giving him a few days off didnt fix anything. Obviously, something else must be tried.

Chris Johnson is having a decent season at the plate, but has also been much better defensively. Higher fielding % & RF. He's no Brooks Robinson by any means, but is holding steady enough to be an average 3B.

Or another way of putting it. He's giving us about as much as ARod is giving the Yankees, but costing us $29,505,000 less.

I'm still shocked that Happ went 6 scoreless innings. I turned the game on in the 7th, saw no runs, and figured he got pulled in the 1st or 2nd due to an injury or something. At least his ERA is under 5 now.

And he did a great job of working out of trouble. Really impressive night for him. Great work.

And the best news??? Happ won't be pitching in the Ranger series ;)

He flurted with disaster a couple times last night. While I am HAPPy with the outcome, last night was only different than most of his other starts in that he had just enough luck to work around them rather than get hammered by them.

Said another way, any pitcher that puts a lot of guys on is going to occasionally work out of it. The point where I will start having some faith in Happ is when he starts having significantly fewer times where he creates trouble for himself in the first place.

Does Altuve have a nickname yet?

If not, how about Little Tuna?
