Capuano??? I remember him having a great season a few years back and then completely falling off the face of the earth. Sound like injuries got to him, hope he comes back strong.
Between Oswalt, Happ, Berkman and Wallace... only Happ had a strong start with his new team. Puma just popped out foul on the 1st pitch after Jeter led off the inning with a 2B. That was my first time seeing Lance in a Yankees uniform. What a strange sight...
Another tough AB for Lance, failing to advance a runner to third would spell doom in Houston but with the Yanks it means Tex will just have hit a two run blast to pick you up.
The riches of that team are amazing and disgusting all at once. Two of the best switch-hitters of our generation hitting back-to-back in the same lineup... not to mention the rest of the team.
Ever since the break last year, J Mike has been a great bench guy...good pickup by Wade. This is Pence's time, he needs to step up to another level otherwise he will be just be a good everyday guy.
Capuano wore the wrong uniform tonight, he has the Brewers on the front of the jersey while the rest have Milwaukee,
Wandy, Myers and Norris may be an above average hitting set of pitchers. Paulino takes some decent hacks. And didn't Lyles hit well in HS? I know Folty did.
Wallace showing the glove at first. I guess the issue with him at 3rd was range and footwork. He apparently has a good glove.
Footwork and range. He was drafted as a 3B but couldn't cut it. I think he was known to have a good enough glove.
Yep, I kept on hearing his range was the issue at 3b. Hopefully, Baggy can help him with the transition.
