The bullpen will get another chance.

J.R. Towles with the game-tying run after keeping the inning alive with an RBI single. Erstad with the go-ahead run.

Bourn and Cameron are putting on a show in CF.

Monster 2 out rally......wow all the life just came back!!

A 1-2-3 9th by Valverde and this would be a sweet win.

What a HUUUUGE letdown. Our bullpen keeps throwing kerosene on the fire.

Note to any hard throwing closer (including Valverde): you can't throw just fastballs to a major league hitter.

    LOOOOOOOOOL.

I turned just into to the Astros.

Fat Prince Fielder just hit a two run jack to take the lead.

I hate Joe of the Green.

I'll forgive Towles for being the worst catcher in history in lieu of an exciting game.

Did you also forgive him for keeping the 8th inning alive with an RBI single before scoring the game-tying run?

He had a pretty good AB in the 9th, too.

Nice recovery although the damage was done before that.

Here we go for one more shot at it.

Damn. Can't say we didn't have our chances tonight. Can only blow so many before one team capitalizes.

Valverde, damn. I guess bad teams really do find different ways to lose.

What a discouraging loss. To come back not once, but twice and still lose.

2-7 in games decided by 1 or 2 runs. It's tough being a Stros fan right now when our record is so bad and yet we've been close in so many games.

When they hit they cant pitch, when the starting pitching is good they either dont hit or relievers suck. This is going to be tough to watch till we make that yearly run..
