    WWW - Although I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose once. Guys wer'e only 3 games back of CIN,PHI and SD for the WC lead. 2 back of FLA and SF and 1 back of ARI. We could have the lead by the end of the week. Let's go Astros!!

    If they make the playoffs, that would make me happy. However, if you think I really believe it is LLL then you must be smoking something.

    I am just following superstition and tradition, and thus HAVE to keep saying negative things.

    If that's what you've been doing, then you do need to change it. Even though we're making a mini-run, we're still under .500. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for your superstitions and traditions. :)

    A GM in the company I work for is a huge Mets fan. He just said today that the team he would hate the Mets to face in the playoffs would be the Astros. He said he thinks they are the only team in the NL with the pitching to beat the Mets in the playoffs.

    I agree completely. It's why it's so disappointing to me that the Astros don't already have the wild card locked up. They're better than that.

    Of course, you've now ruined it by mentioning the tradition. You should have just played along..but NOOOOOOOOO. You had to go and talk about it. Now they're screwed and it's all your fault.

    I wouldn't be so fast to discount Florida. They are a pretty hot team right now. However, I too believe that this should be a sweep. WWW.
