Even though they lost last night's game, I liked the fight the young team had in them. It was fun to watch even though they lost. Hopefully tonight they turn it around and get a win.

Is it still Batty Bob that drives the train?

Must be the same guy, since he said he has been doing it for 12 years.

I think thats overstated a bit. Surely, i am not implying that his spring era of almost 8.00 is where he will be all year at the majors. But if you look at the link I provided, he was hit pretty well in 3/4 outings he appeared in. Walked several as well. And his only other outing was only fair at best. Spring or not, it would take a monumental reversal of that sequence to imply that he will be a tough one to tonight.

I'm impressed by Cruz early this game. The Astros could definitely use that kind of pitching. Especially if he came in while we had a lead to hold.

Beat by a little dink and dunk inning with the slowest seeing-eye grounders I've ever witnessed. Frustrating.

errors hurt, which I guess is to be expected somewhat in a team this young.

I liked the way Cruz pitched as I mentioned, and I thought Martinez was great. If that one ball hadn't hit the Braves Pitcher's foot he would have had another hit, and possibly another RBI.

One thing that is promising yet troubling at the same time is how many runners we are stranding in our losses. It's promising because we are getting people on base, but troubling that we can't seem to bring those guys in when we really need it. I hope the season having just begun that we start bringing some of those guys in.

The game was kind of frustrating, but you have to have some faith and believe in the team to be able to be frustrated. If they just sucked with no potential, then there would be no frustration at the errors and stranded base runners.

Everybody in the lineup outside of our catchers and Bogey have been exceeding expectations.

For giving up a run when Jason Maxwell made a boneheaded play and immediately followed it up with a throwing error?
