Yet another GIDP for Miggy.

 

I went to the game last night and boy was it depressing. I was telling my wife that it was such a far cry from the pennant fever that gripped this city, the ball club, and the stadium. I know you will get certain nights at the game that will feel like a playoff atmosphere, but nothing compares to September of 2004 and 2005. It was just such an amazing experience.

 

Is there a reason for putting Johnson in like that? Did they just want him to play half the game?

 

I wouldn't look much into it. He'll get some starts.

 

Just seemed weird that he wouldn't start the game.

Hard to believe that a team with Moehler, Ortiz, Paulino, Norris, Brazardo, & Hampton starting would actually have more problems on Offense.

Berkman comes up empty again w/ RISP.

He has been awful for the last month or so.

.446 OPS over the last 2 weeks and a Matsui-like .650 over the last month.
