I went to the game last night and boy was it depressing. I was telling my wife that it was such a far cry from the pennant fever that gripped this city, the ball club, and the stadium. I know you will get certain nights at the game that will feel like a playoff atmosphere, but nothing compares to September of 2004 and 2005. It was just such an amazing experience.
Just seemed weird that he wouldn't start the game. Hard to believe that a team with Moehler, Ortiz, Paulino, Norris, Brazardo, & Hampton starting would actually have more problems on Offense.
Berkman comes up empty again w/ RISP. He has been awful for the last month or so. .446 OPS over the last 2 weeks and a Matsui-like .650 over the last month.
YES!!!!!! Great win for the Astros..... ....and Rafael Soriano kills me yet again in fantasy. Good thing I still have a pretty healthy lead in ERA.
