    We lost again.

Damn, I hate when we suck. If Oswalt cannot win one, then who the f can. Geezzzzzzzz.

    $71 million dollars for a $31 million dollar team...:D

Somebody better get their sh*t together and fast. Losing seems normal all of a sudden. Terrible.

Anyone else find it interesting that Redding may be the best pitcher on the staff this season (so far)?

    Go Timmy!!!!!

Weren't he and Lidge supposed to be Os and Miller before Os and Miller?

Os didn't pitch two badly after the 1st. But, oh no, no O except in O-uch!

Speaking of Lidge, I keep wondering if they are gonna give him any starts this year. He went back to starting in the minors towards the end of last season.

I've got bad news for everyone: this is the same team.

You must not have been around during the Cesar Cedeno, Jimmy Wynn, Bob Watson, Larry Dierker, Ken Forsch, Roger Metzger, Doug Radar, Joe Morgan/Tommy Helms, Lee May, Greg Gross and lets not forget Gene Elston days. Ahh the good ole days.

When Maddux is getting the outside pitch called for strikes, he is a machine. I thought he would have trouble against your power.

Bill Worrell is back to annoy me to death. I cannot stand this guy doing baseball. Let JimmyD or Dierker do the home games. Worrell isn't a color man, damn.

here's the thing: oswalt isn't exactly pitching bad. his control and location aren't there yet but his stuff is still so amazing that he's getting by. we have been a bit spoiled by him in the past but NO pitcher can keep up that kind of pace he was on without a little bump here or there.
by the end of the year he'll be up there with the best. i say the same thing for wade.

our bats really need to pick it up.

Be nice if the manager might actually make a POSITIVE difference, too!

And their coach, neither of them, was never as bad as the 'stros manager.

Well, I was happy that Oswalt pulled it together after the disastrous first.

I really think WaMi will pull out of his funk tonight.

THe astros were supposed to pull me out of my depression of no post season for the rockets. But instead I am slipping away in disgust. The astros are not a good team right now. Its so hard to see the Cubbies in first place!!!

With Dierker as our manager, our pitchers overachieved. With Williams, everyone is underachieving. We will never win with Williams!!! Get rid of him!

So, it doesn't matter who manages? Another way to say it does not matter if the manager is Jimi, perhaps.

And to: Uprising Its so hard to see the Cubbies in first place!!! Get used to looking UP at the Cubbies. They are better than we are, and they have a big league manager. I expect if Junior were still among the walking the Reds would be above 'stros, too.
