So, when will Dusty and Click be able to quit Joe Smith?

I remember leaving the stadium when Joe Smith came in during game 7 of the 2019 World Series.

That’s an out at most places... but the Astros don’t play at most places and that entire inning called for a more aggressive approach to lock it down. Yes an error and a pop fly HR suck and aren’t totally reflective of bad pitching, but Stanek is going to now have a nice 3 days off...

    Baker's bullpen usage is terrible.
Why use your two worst relievers back to back in a close game when your two best are rested.

Why? Harris and Smith were the most reliable arms in the pen that World Series (and were overworked because of it). This is not that Joe Smith.

We still should have put in Cole after Grienke

It was literally only one season... and that team fizzled out the last week of the season and missed the playoffs.

This is the only park in MLB that's a home run.

Yordan's may have been out in 3 of them.

    Crawford Boxes, ladies and gentlemen!

    But still...Raley to Smith?

Because he concedes. There is a reason he’s never won anything. I really hate his old school stubborn approach to games. Can’t wait until he’s gone.

They ran into some bad luck but the results were in line with their normal outings. You don’t go Raley and Joe Smith close and late unless there just isn’t anyone else. Let alone back to back.

I'd rather draw from a hat each inning to see who relieves.. Maybe that way Raley and Smith make less appearances. I'll take my chances.

Very considerate of Tucker, Straw and Maldy to go out with a whimper to let Dusty off of the hook
