Yes it did. I did not want to see another team celebrate on our field.

I'm pretty sure Wagner wanted out for some reason.

    I do know baseball.
I also know that your BEST relievers don't always need to go in for a "save situation"
They can be used to keep the game close.

No it didn't. Not Game 7, not you leaving early, none of it.

Any particular reason you are being an ass to me today? Yes it did, all of it. At this point, it's not worth it getting into it with you.

It’s off the wall in Boston... Yordans is also out in Yankee Stadium.

The Astros have been there for 20+ years now.... with many of those years showing MMP to have a huge park factor skewed towards pitching. IOW, they should know what sort of pitching works there and what doesn’t.

Joe Smith and his soft non-K stuff is a problem.

I have blocked Game 7 from my mind. But if it actually happened, and you actually left early, you have inexplicable issues.

I'm hoping Castro gets a start tmrw against the righty, but I doubt Baker will do it.

Don't really criticize Dusty too much because he doesn't have many option in the pen. But Stanek was rested and it was an extremely winnable 1 run game.

Ah yes, the Joe Smith who had a 1.80 ERA in the regular season, and had given up 1 run in 9 postseason appearances that year. Makes complete sense that you wouldn't trust him.

His slider is not what it once was, movement and location, and it's killing him.

Agreed. Also I wonder if the 3 batter rule has also effectively made him less useful. There’s a lot of relievers that I wouldnt necessarily trust for 3 batters.

I'm discovering the difficulty of paying attention to a baseball game while cooking crawfish.
