    He's safe.

A more accurate throw gets him.

This is no surprise. Liriano has sucked for some time now.

This one is on Liriano, again. Fisher and McCann just trying cover up his shaky pitching.

I sound like a broken record the number of times I've mentioned poor defense tonight.

Liriano continues his flop HOU career

Gregerson is 0 for his last 4 appearances with a <1 run difference. He will likely f*** up tonight.

Liriano (potentially) loses two games in relief in his first two appearances with a team? That's got to be something special.

And, he's got stamina of a former starting pitcher.

His original biggest strength was his ability to be a potential multi-inning long-man. There was clamoring for him to start at the beginning of the year.

Then, he became Eric Gagne 2.0, and they moved him towards more high leverage situations... yes, he was being used quite a bit (as all great bullpen arms are at some point or another), and I agree that what they were doing to him early on was not going to be sustainable.

They've scaled back his usage quite a bit. I suppose they're smart enough to figure out if shutting him down would make him better... but there's also things he may be working through (mechanically) that require him to actually pitch.

I suggested to have him go back to long relief to try and get some of his rhythm back... in the end, they'll figure it out (they have to).

Considering the wood Stroman got by beating us last time and Mike Fiers regressing. Yea. Most likely. But, you never know.
