Agree rox....right now the moment seemed TOO BIG for Harris and I'm not sure which inning he's pitching matters. BTW, this is not Harris' first collapse...I've seen this movie before.

Lol...sigh...Hoyt gives one up to Encarnarcion but I still would have trusted him more than Harris that last inning.

I guess a 2 run lead was insurmountable is the reason Giles didn't pitch.

Who pitches the 9th then, Giles? You can't just not use Harris because he blew a few saves.

He sure did.....good thing Harris didn't give up a run. And he never gives up a HR. Oops...scratch that.

Agree, don't think you should use anyone else in that situation. I don't think he's done either but his confidence is shot right now. One of my biggest concerns earlier in the season was him pitching too many innings, like all those times we would waste him in non-save situations or play him with a big lead like when we're up by 6 in the 9th , which could also attribute to his downfall (just like last year).

Maybe they comeback against all odds here. As for this weekend, hope they sweep the Rangers or just get swept so we can turn our attention to football.

Good points....I just have zero confidence in him.Hope he turns it around. These last couple of series have been depressing.

Pitching has not been the problem this series. They got shelled in Detroit 2/3 games and have bounced back to give this team a chance for the sweep. Unfortunately, 2/3rd of our lineup is terrible and our big guys haven't come up with timely hits.

This is a good point, especially with Devenski throwing several innings earlier in the series and Feliz pitching last night. I just have no confidence in Harris right now.

Pitching gave up one game...14 innings as I recall. And 4 runs for the opposition is death with the lineup as you alluded to.
