God do I hate home crowds, they think any pop fly, no matter how far or short it is, the crowd starts getting loud, as a tv viewer makes you think the ball is a goner.
I keep thinking Dickey is older, but if we can tire him out, it might be what our bats need to really get going. Maybe if he's doing well they'll leave him in the game too long. It might just be wishful thinking on my part. I don't mind looking for the silver lining.
Because since Valbuena and Gomez left the lineup we have had the worst offense in baseball. I have told my friends a few years now about something that they're starting to buy into. I call it the White quotient. When the number of players in our lineup that are white increases to 2/3 or greater, then our lineup becomes the worst in baseball. It's been true since 2008 or something.
