Man, this KILLS me. I bought a 42 inch Sammy last year for $1200.

And check out the tiny border on that thing. I may have to buy it.

 

I get the feeling they have a lot and you wouldn't have to wait in line for it. They have these at Best Buy for $899 without the sale. Probably be cheaper at BB in the coming weeks.

 

Didn't catch that. The CC ad almost feels like a misprint its so cheap.

Am I the only one in this forum who doesn't think TV's are that big of a deal? I hardly even watch it.

It's nice that instead of reading a thread which contains your answers without having to search the net, you choose to order other posters to place the information at your feet.

 

I watch TV sometimes (King of Queens and the Biggest Loser), but I mostly watch NBA games, NFL, etc. and although they look nice in HD, I don't mind at all watching on regular TVs. Hell, I adjusted rabbit ears throughout my teenage years to watch the Rockets, just having cable and not having to do that is a plus.

 

So, what are the best deals so far?

You can get that Hitatchi at that price at Sears as we speak. Worst plasma picture I have out there at this moment though. Apparently you can tweak around it if you have some menu skills. Great price.

 

I agree with Ziggy. The Hitachi looked like crap when I saw it in BB.

 

You can get a 46in 799 Samsung projection at circuitcity.com right now. How much are they gonna drop that thing with the 50 at 799?

 

I don't know about waiting in line for a TV when prices drop noticeably after 4 months. I admit these are very sweet deals.

I'm waiting for 50" LCDs to drop.
