that's one of the things of horrendous o-line play. You have a clean pocket then you start seeing things that aren't there because your instinct says it's going to collapse before the second Mississippi. During Wade Smith's hour, he compared a zone play which he ran with Kubiak with one this team ran against the cowboys. He was in disbelief didn't the line didn't know the assignments. Zone blocking scheme is such a back breaker to the defense when executed right as you can run or pass without giving away a tell.
A few issues with this one. That Red Zone play where he admits it wasn't a good play call per the coverage. Had he stepped up, he would have stepped in to Lamm(Had a good game) who was being blown in to Watson's lap. This play isn't even a viable example. There was also the weak side safety waiting on Watson to make that throw for what could have been a pick. He acts like Watson isn't capable of stepping up in the pocket when he does it ALL of the time. Then goes on to mention that guys like "Mathew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes(LOL, leader in passing outside of pocket) Ben Rothlisberger, and Aaron Rodgers" would have stepped up. Half the QB's he mentioned like to evade at first chance in order to buy some time. Tom Brady is the only guy I know that would have stayed in that pocket and still managed to make that throw(that is why he is the goat). He inherently tried to pretend to not be a homer by being way too critical and cherry picking a play in which Watson actually made an incredible throw that went threw his unreliable TE's hands. Hilarious. I do think Watson is responsible for some of the red zone issues sure, but its a collective effort. Ryan Griffin dropped two TD passes. BoB called a Shotgun play when inches from the goal line, Deshaun missed a throw to Hop in the right corner of the endzone. It is collective. Cherry picking one play where Watson made choice in evading the rush is weird. The good news is that the Houston Texans offense is secretly still really good at moving the ball. They are really close to winning a lot of games. Execution.
Had he stepped up. Its a pick. Weak throw in to a weak side safety who was inching over to Hopkins. Stupid. Brett knows his stuff, but he isn't too far removed from hyping Ryan Mallet.
You missed my point completely. All because they beat and held the Titans to 12 has no bearings on our game tomorrow. The Packers shut the Bill's out. Does that mean the Packers have top 10 defense? Heck no

Who said anything about top ten? I just said their defense is talented (pass rushers and a very solid corner) and were able to keep the Titans out of the endzone and limit the Vikings to 6 points. Watch that game, that defense came to play. If that defense shows up tomorrow, it is going to be a long afternoon for the Texans offense. The Packers shutting the Bills out means nothing because the Bills have one of the worst defenses in the league. The Vikings have a top 15 QB and top 15 offenses.
Bwhahaha I used an example just like you. Not once did I say you said the Bill's are a top ten defensive team. I ask you since the Packers not Bill's, shut Buffalo down ( 22-0). Does that make the Packers a top 10 defense. I'm just using your theory here.
This game has somewhat of an upset special feeling to it. Even though the line is -10, I can see it being pretty close. Buffalo has a better defense than the Texans (their offense is awful though)
I would throw JD at that. Texans need a corner bad. He is one of the best who can shutdown a side of the field much like AJ Boyue in Houston did his last year here.
Um...Cards are not trading for Clowney....if they trading PP. LOL. They are looking for cheap players and picks.
Hope we can be 3-3 after this one. I feel like, if we are to take the texans seriously, this one should be kinda easy.
That's usually the point where they prove to us that we shouldn't. It would be nice if they did that for once.
Jay Glazer: He's listed as questionable with a chest injury but pretty serious situation. Last week, he had all these big hits. He's playing with a cracked rib, bruised lung and one of his lungs partially collapsed. He will play today with this.
