Yes, good qbs can make due with subpar o-line. You're exaggerating, they're not getting demolished. Would you be saying the same thing if it was schaub under center? No, you would be saying he looks awful.
You probably should stop looking at defensive players' "stats" as a sign if they're playing well or not. He consistently reeks havoc.
The O-line looks Carr-level bad right now. Yes, everybody would be saying the line sucks if Schaub was back there... it would look even worse since he's less mobile than Fitz.
No, I would be saying it with any QB behind center...if the oline is getting pushed around, I dont put much blame on the QB. The only throw that Fitz made that was terrible was the one on 3rd down where it was right to a Bills player. Otherwise, I wouldnt expect him to be tearing it up with that protection.
