I have no problem with legalizing mar1juana. I think we need to develop new types of drug test so people can be tested for DWI on the spot with mar1juana just like they do with alcohol. .
Unfortunately, I'm not sure that is scientifically possible. Breathalizers measure how much alcohol is being aspirated from your lungs. Blood tests, of course, test your BAC. Neither of these would work for pot intoxication.
Perhaps you are right. I know pot stays in a users system for a long time and is detectable in current drug test for weeks even though the intoxicating effects only last hours. I do not know how much time has been put into developing new test that can detect use immediately while a user is still high and not get false readings for someone who waited to drive. Perhaps new blood test can be developed? Medical science always has new breakthroughs.
I think the republicans are attempting to figure out who the weakest Democrat is and then will push them as the candidate So they looking to see who will give their base the most red meat to go after Last time it was Hillary This time maybe Bernie? Rocket River Republicans are trying to pick their opponent.
At the very least the laws should be changed to only go after the drugs on the supply side and leave small time users alone.
I don’t think anyone doubts his sincerity. Also the fact that “he means it” is exactly why he won’t be President. He is a good person though. I have heard very few negative things about his character. When Trump is burning in hell with Nixon and LBJ, Bernie will be with the angels.
No... Bernie is just the most popular democratic candidate. And I think he'd be the hardest candidate for Trump to beat considering Bernie's support amongst the rust belt state. His opening donations are a tribute to that fact that he's the most popular as well. He's absolutely stomped everybody in the race. Biden is the only other Dem with the same name recognition, we'll see if he runs, and what kind of support he will get if he does. I'd bet Harris will end up ahead of Biden though, she's probably Bernies biggest comp.

As someone that has split time or has lived in Western Europe for years, I can tell you that it isn’t some wonderful utopia. While I love Western Europe, it isn’t any better than the USA.
What countries and by what measure. I think all Nordic countries are better than the US, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and even Ireland has a good argument over the USA as well. It does depend on what measure though, my measures are quality of life, education, safety, healthcare, economic prosperity for the middle class etc.
