Bubbles definitely exist. I think the type of Bernie supporter you are talking about are the type of people who get all their political commentary from TYT YouTube videos and boring outside of that.

I have little doubt most of the moderates will vote for Bernie in Nov if he is the Democrat nominee, but I do have doubts about how many Bernie supporters will vote for Biden if he is the nominee. To me the most important issue this election is do you want four more years of Trump.

When that narrative comes from Megan McCain, it's safe to say that that narrative is officially debunked.

It would be like if Trump started advocated for Medicare for all. I would question my thoughts on the subject matter and reconsider my beliefs when such a dimwit supports that notion.

What are you even talking about? What does it have to do with the post you quoted?

I think his point is that some posters here try to paint a narrative that only people who support Bernie take low blows when in reality that isn't the case.

MSNBC and CNN pundits are not immune to click bait hot take over the top rhetoric.

Really? So when she has slammed Trump in the past, that means you think she's wrong and think Trump was right, for example, to rail on John McCain after his death?

    How absolutely idiotic.

My article was talking about the campaign's own campaign strategy and used references from their own advisors.

Her hatred of Trump is motivated by personal vindictiveness. She isn't an objective aribiter. She flat out called Bernie a "misogynist". How can someone say Bernie is a "mysoginist" with a straight face?

If Bernie has a huge win tonight the market is going to crater tomorrow. Kind of a win win for the Bernie Bros since a recession will increase their chances.

Longing tomorrow if Biden takes it.

Bernie needs a 50 delegate lead for today to be a success IMO. Meaning he needs to gain 43 more delegates then Biden today. I'm not confident whatsoever, I think it's much more likely for them to be tied, if not Biden ahead by a small amount at the end of all the tallying for today.

Super Tuesday is kinda exciting. I thought it was fun anticipating Iowa and all but today feels really decisive in the 2020 race for the White House.

If you want to be snide , lets just put each other on ignore ...

I'm not venting towards you at all - I'm venting towards your idea's of freebies that wont be free and the idea of increasing the size and scope of government on the scale that Bernie proposes. I think it's absolutely ignorant , particularly the spending.

You can't equate M4A to the rest of that agenda. The funding for that "single payer" health care is already there and the idea is to save us all some money - the same people that pay for it now will be paying for M4A. It took me a while to come around on single payer as I'm philosophically opposed to socialized anything but the realization is that we're going to pay the bill one way or another so we may as well do so in the most efficient / economical way possible.

Now you want to throw in free college .... again I'm opposed to the freebie idea. You want it , earn it just like everyone else has - those student loans are you making a purchase in your own future , playing it as its some great benefit to society is disingenuous in the vast majority of cases , other than the fact that most won't be a burden on society. Not to mention we have been thru the many ways to avoid such a large bill for most people and lets be honest here - not everyone is cut out for 4-8 more years of school.

As for those government jobs - you just can't manufacture them out of thin air. Jobs come from demand .... and these jobs will produce nothing and simply be a drain on the rest of the economy , another burden on the taxpayer. Paying them just to pay them.

Then there's doing away with fossil fuels .... wonderful idea in theory but implementing it in a short time frame presents challenges , particularly to the working poor who can't afford new EV's , they are still driving 10-20 year old vehicles with increasing cost of use as fuel prices are absolutely sure to rise. The solutions to that are poor too - cash for clunkers ? Again a cost to the taxpayers , more public transportation not viable in many places but again the idea remains the same - more government is the answer.
Sure would be a boon to the auto industry tho .... What about all those jobs in oil and gas ? Retrain them my foot , they'll be forgotten in minutes.

The ~$20T he plans to throw at climate change .... is the wrong route and does nothing to get the worst offenders - India , China , in line. No matter how much money we throw at the problem , if those countries don't clean up their act we're pissing in the wind.
And then there's the simplest solution - Plant Trees - doesn't cost trillions.

Unfortunately if Bernie wins, it will be a gift to Trump....

He will make this a Socialist against Democracy thing... Not saying it's true, but he will have a message to unite the Republicans, even the ones that don't like him...

I am now rooting for Bernie. If nothing else, I want to see Larry David imitating him on SNL for the next many months.
That's like the only funny thing in the country right now.

I'm not sure if it's you or another poster but it was about how they helped their son by paying half of their tuition.

Now do you think every child in America is born into homes that can afford doing that?

What you say about education flies against the ideals of the founders of this country especially Thomas Jefferson. We should determine who gets to recieve education by how well off their parents are. That's how extreme class divide occurs. Extreme class divide even if you are morally fine with it isn't sustainable. Hence in every part of human history, when class divide reaches a certain point, violence ensues from the French Revolution to the Bolshevik Revolution.
