I've become a lot less optimistic as the week's gone on and this article confirmed that. The simple truth is the Texans are a better team than Cincinnati. Both teams are similar, but the Texans are just *better* at most facets of the game. Still hoping Cincinnati can pull off the upset, but this year's team has been good about beating worse teams and losing to better ones, and I don't see any reason that should change this week. I'm expecting a game similar to week 17 vs. Baltimore, or even our last playoff game against the Jets in 2009. Close in score, but never really in doubt (from the Texans point of view). Either way, I'll be nervously watching from the heart of Austin, Texas...only 39.5 hours til kickoff!
sorry man but we dont want cincy to upset. a homer since the rockets n astros arent going anywhere. dalton is gonna be be a good young qb in this league but i hope barwin n reed show him texans d at reliant.
Left to pit his wits and will against nature's fury. The last few games ... It was his initiation... ... his time in the wild... ... for he would return to his team a winner... ... or not at all. The tigers begins to circle the boy. Claws of black steel... ... fur as dark night. Eyes glowing orange... ... jewels from the pit of hell itself. The giant tigers sniffing... ... savoring the scent of the meal to come. It's not fear that grips him... ... only a heightened sense of things. The cold air in his lungs. Windswept pines moving against the coming night. His hands are steady. His form... ... perfect. TD, Texans! ! !
guys, the two fools that come on leading up to the big show on 790 just bad mouth the texans and said cincy is gonna win by 7 or more.
is that why there has been so much trash talking toward Cincy? I was wondering where/why it all started
I don't know about y'all but I feel like tomo is Christmas!!! Sooooo stoked I haven't been this pumped about Houston sports since we beat the cardinals in 05!!!
Alex Flanagan is doing a sit down interview with Andre. I'm assuming it will air on the pre-game show. http://lockerz.com/s/171923056
After that loss to the Chiefs, the Oilers went in the toilet and then left town. That was 1994. We've been in "NFL Hell" since then.
Texans 28 Bengals 10 Then on to baltimore. Then back home to play pittsburgh. Then onward to Indy to complete their destiny.
Good luck to the Texans. It would be great to have some ammo against the cowgirl fans that surround me.
