Good read on Grantland concerning the running scheme of the Texans and its history:

    Long article is long.

I just want to point out that I'm pretty disappointed in the thread title, along with everyone else. Bengals @ Texans?? That's it?!? How about "WILDCARD ROUND" or "PLAYOFFS!!" Something to signify this moment?!?

It's FRIDAY people!!! We are fast approaching 24 hours until kick-off!!! Get CRAZY!!!

My final score prediction is 20-16 Texans, but somthing tells me Kareem Jackson will be covering AJ Green and it will be backwards..........

Richard Smith, Frank Bush, and David Gibbs return to coach the secondary scheme?

Of course, Jerome Simpson can break off a big play himself, especially with "Don't Look Back" Jackson running behind him.

If I'm Andy Dalton, I find whichever receiver Kareem Jackson is covering and throw hit his way all game. I hope it does not take a playoff loss for the coaches to realize what a piece of garbage the guy is. I have faith in the rest of the team though. Texans 21 Bengals 17

What will y'all do if Kareem Jackson costs us the game?

I take issue with the article saying we backed into the playoffs.

We clinched before losing our final games, so I'm not sure how we backed into anything.

Either way, I want to believe, but I feel like the Texans will break my heart tomorrow.

Hoping for a win, prepared for a loss, looking forward to next year when we'll be Superbowl contenders with Schaub back and a healthy team behind him.

    Go Texans!

Jerome Simpson scares the bejezus out of me. I can just envision Kareem giving up a fade route to him in the end zone with 40 seconds left to play to put the Bengals up by 4. He's an athletic freak who has insane body control.....and well, Kareem simply isn't. Something tells me Simpson is not gonna pull a Julio Jones if he gets the opportunity.

However, I'm still amped, and the Texans are going to win. It shall be so.

Seriously. The Bengals are winless against playoff teams this year and only 1-7 against winning teams. Add to the fact we already beat theme without Andre at their place and they give us 25% of winning at home? smh

I would gladly eat crow, but the only way that happens is if Dalton trips or has a brain cramp. The dude has zero corner back ability....zero.

We are "favorites" because we are at home but are underdogs because everyone is picking against us. If the texans win, they'll say "oh we knew it could have gone either way." Those Analysts are clueless anyways

I can see that happening. 5 seconds left hail mairy by dalton. Kareem with the game winning interception only to have it stripped by a bengal in the endzone because kareem didn't get down.
