Is the kind of bullshit that has the A’s somewhat competitive.

Last two runs on Martin. A’s doing what the Astros do to most teams (make contact, balls find some gaps, defense makes mistakes, score runs).

Blummer referencing tipping pitches there. He is... just needs to find out what it is. May need to call Tony Kemp.

This is what I get for going to my first Twins game of the season. The Twins bad mojo is affecting the Stros

Seems like it. He's not wild in the zone and no walks. He's mostly hitting his spots but they have been right on it.

On the bright side, this game saved the Astros some money in arbitration with Framber.....

    Total bullsh!t.

He has no control over his FB, and it doesn't have the usual cut, so people are sitting on everything over the middle of the plate.

Its not like he’s giving up homers. He’s just been unlucky and he’s getting no help from his teammates.

Shouldn’t you be hyper focused on whether or not they’re paying MLB minimum salaries to guys on the 60 day DL?

Shouldn't you be studying Cole's spin rates?

Exit velocity on some of those hits was not “unlucky”. Lowrie’s hit is a HR in many ballparks.

Yep… and Framber’s. Definitely makes for better conversation.

He’s the guy who tells Jim Crane he can save .50 a roll by cutting out one ply…

I think six of the eight hits he’s yielded have been ground balls. In that AB too he got squeezed and had to come back to a sinker in a hitter’s count. He hasn’t looked great but I don’t think he’s been terrible.
