One of those games (2 in a row now) where the offense forgets what clutch hitting is. This offense seems to excel at that. Oh well Yankees got shut out today too
- Every Astro had a hit except Straw. Being honest, he's not a MLB-level player. He's fast, but he can't hit, and can't even claim his defense is above-average due to arm strength. - Altuve adds to his multi-hit All-Time franchise status. Multi-XBH too. We've seen the multi-hit game stat, but would be interesting to know the multi-XBH - Bregman sooo needed a day off... smh - AT&T made an error by not "yellow'ing" the RBI's - Rockets vs Warriors @ 9pm
It could be one of those years where they have 2 bad games in a row in April. It's never happened before in MLB, so we'll just have to watch and see how it plays out 153 games later.
Had some bad luck yesterday. It’s baseball, it happens. 12 of the next 16 are against the Tigers, Mariners and Rockies so this should be a really solid stretch of games where we can hopefully start to build a bit of a lead in the division.
At this point, aside from baserunning... I'm not even sure why he's on the roster. It was a joke to let Springer go and think Straw could keep the seat warm long enough for one of our guys to come up. He can't even do that.
So either the Astros view Javier starting as more valuable than relieving, they are trying to scam an extra year of service, or both. I am guessing both.
I thought I was gonna come in here and see everybody freakin out but not to many guys are doing that, good job SO FAR. I have no idea how people can be baseball fans and live and die on every game, that's just not healthy.
