Only for the fans. Altuve is the only one left from the NL days...and that was during the 100 loss days, so he probably doesn't have the feels for it at all.

No Stros, so watching NYY and Tanaka's wheels fall off in Boston.

Boston 7-0, still in the 1st.

Boston set (or tied) multiple Yankee rivalry records tonight.

I know, but I love our team's past history. Miss the rivalry. So this series will be very refreshing.

Absolutely hate playing in NL parks now. Intentional walks to get to the pitcher just blows. Never thought I'd be ad advocate of the DH but I sure am now.

Yankees, Astros, and Dodgers are top 3 in run differential. I'm guessing one of those three teams win the World Series. My money is on the Astros.

There should be enough eventual momentum to see a change. Bagwell recently spoke out about the unfairness that the World Series creates on both sides, when they have to play by different sets of rules.

I used to think managing in the NL required more thinking/strategy.... but its exactly the opposite. They're "forced" to make pitching changes, hence why they seem smarter when they double-switch, but its really out of necessity. Meanwhile, the AL manager has to really know his pitcher on the mound... as well as his bullpen... and make changes solely based on either how the pitcher is doing, matchups, or historical tendencies.

If we meet them in the playoffs, I hope they are not playing like this.

They are different. If the Rays played in the NL,, I'm not sure they wouldn't use more strategy/thinking than any AL or other NL team considering how they deploy pitchers in games without one of their top starters.
