Yeah wasn’t that upset with the decision myself and those ABs by Altuve and Correa show you why it wasn’t that bad of one.
Correa....sigh...Bregman is the one I trust the most in big situations of the core 4 right now. The other 3 failed big time that inning.
WTF are Correa and Altuve doing? Totally taking the wind out of Springer and Bregman's sails... smh Correa looking like he just crawled out of some girl's bed.
A wasted opportunity. We should have had 1st and 2nd with no outs with the MVP and clean-up coming up. Very un-Astros like inning.
A fastball literally right down the middle at that. He has routinely looked lost at the plate this year, post and pre-injury. Very curious to see him regress to this extent... and frustrating. Truth be told he probably shouldn’t be batting cleanup right now, he simply hasn’t been a good enough hitter this year to warrant it.
Springer is flailing out there. Can't find the ball at the plate and then making a damn stupid, obvious running mistake trying to force something to stick for him. Correa is not clutch this season. Like, it's a distinct higher lack of clutchness than most of the rest team in my observations. Not acceptable for either guy in those batting positions. Thankfully, Bregman has enough clutch to cover the entire rest of the team many nights.
