Bellinger has a great arm...Bellinger was playing shallow...there was 1 out...Pena was due up. It was not a good decision.
Yeah…can’t defend that decision with Pena coming up. We are so ****ing bad at base running it’s truly unbelievable. Also don’t understand why we never try to steal bases. You have Trammell with speed on first and their pitcher already had one disengagement…just don’t get it
Bellinger has a good arm and the ball was hit hard enough that he got to it quick. Pear-ass-cheeks is just inept and frequently costing us runs.
Going back to the last game, the Astros last 3 hits with RISP have all been to right field and netted 0 runs. After the last game where the 3rd base coach held up the runner twice and the next batter did nothing, he said **** it, go home.
We have no way of knowing if he throws the same pitch there, if Pena even swings, etc. considering how different the situation is with bases loaded 1 out.
