I agree about both as long as "meh" is a solid MLB player but not an All-Star If they are among your 5-6 best position players you're team is in trouble. If you have 6-7 better position players your team should be good. They are both much better than 95 out of 100 prospects end up but they both have low ceilings to go with the high floor. McCormick has 7.1 bWAR in 1118 PAs. If we extrapolate that to 500 PAs for 6 controllable seasons that = 19.0 bWAR Meyers has 3.6 bWAR in 665 PA. If we extrapolate that to 500 PAs for 6 controllable seasons that = 16.2 bWAR Thats what they would project to be as regular starters. The chances are that not a single OF currently in the system ends up as good as them but every once in a while guys like Melton or Baez hit and the team is set at that position for 6+ years. That is historical fact, not what I want or hope.
