Because, Nick, we haven't played 162 games yet. I'm sure you've NEVER looked at ANY portion of schedule during ANY given season and thought, "tough stretch coming up" or "some easy competition coming up, maybe we can make some hay." Of course you've never done any of that.... except of course, when you do. Stop inventing disingenuous rebuttals just for the sake of rebuttal'ing.
Calm down. I'm not the one (poorly) trying to make the point that "they haven't played anybody good yet..." And over the stretch of 162, bad teams beat good teams all the time. Means nothing till all the games are played.
I remember having Ellsbury as a flyer on a season long fantasy team that one year where he absolutely tore it up, think he came in second in MVP voting that year. Looking back now on his career numbers, outside of some stupendous steals totals, he really was a one-year wonder.
Keuchel has mastered 4 pitches and the ability to throw them from the same slot. He's a left handed Greg Maddox. Take care of him on his next contract please.
Good comparison. Instead of glasses, he wears a beard. Keuchel has shown a little more playoff savvy thus far, so that's an added plus.
Last 8 Stros runs have been scored with 2 outs. I think there are more active posters in this thread than there were fans in seats at tipoff
The reality is that the Astros have just as good a chance of beating the Warriors in a 7 game series as the Rockets.
